September 19, 2009 marked another unique and successful date for the community in need and our club! With the effortless assistance of the 'Wit Gele Kruis' and 'Yrausquin & Sons', Kiwanis Club of Palm Beach was able to donate yet another batch of 22 Child Seats to selected families! With Ms. Christina Yrausquin serving as our gracious hostess, all children receiving a child seat were present at the Ford dealer with their parents eventually left with a smile on their faces, knowing they would be a lot safer in traffic from that moment on. 

Nothing is more gratifying than the SMILE OF A CHILD ... 

We are very proud and grateful to Yrausquin & Sons who donated a substantial amount of money contributing to our cause, to provide awareness for Children's Safety by use of a Child Seat. A warm thank you also goes out to the 'Wit Gele Kruis' and the 'Korps Politie Aruba', which embrace this project as their own. 

As a Club, we have submitted a petition to the Department of Justice to pass a law in Aruba that enforces the use of a Child Seat for children up to at least 4 years! The more support we will get for this law, the better; it will diminish the possibilities of children fatalities in traffic. After all ... our children are our future; help us get them to their future: use a Child Seat!
