As we are now officially in the year 2010 and the holidays are officially over, we head into the most important fundraising event for our club.

On February 12, between the hours of 9:30pm and 2:30am, Kiwanis Club of Palm Beach presents their 13th edition of the 'Carnaval Masquerade Party'. This is a festive occasion with a very crucial and noble cause: to raise funds for the children and community in need in Aruba.

For the past 12 consecutive years, Kiwanis Club of Palm Beach has used the annual highlight of Carnaval, for its largest fund raising activity. At this party, more than one thousand people eat, drink and dance to the intoxicating music of Claudius Philips and OREO, and Robert JeanD'or y su Solo Banda Show. This is a party that knows no equal.

All funds raised (net revenue) find their way back into the Aruban community through different projects, with the main focus on local children in need. Some of these projects include the Childseat Project, Fitness Park @ YMCA, Serenity Park and Fundacion Ban Uni Man pa Cria nos Muchanan.
